Google released its very first batch of SEO tips recently — and what was missing was any mention of the importance of inbound links, the real currency of importance with Google. SEO’s began celebrating, Calacanis weighed in as usual, and Matt Cutts denied it all (sort of).
Recently, US researchers were able to replicate, and prove, that sending spam is profitable. They also discovered a little bit about the pathetic and gullible who fall for these unsolicited ads, confirming, among other things, the “double hill” hypothesis, and how many of said weak and wretched are indeed ordering in the first place.
