Sergey Brin Discovers The First Law Of Blogging

Sergey “Solid Gold” Brin, one of the co-founders of Googe, has decided to start up his own blog. How cute. By the number and quality of comments it looks like he’s quickly discovered the first law of blogging: no one’s really listening. Its followed by the first caveat to said blog: unless you’re famous. With the first law and caveat in place, one wonders why its so desolate. Either a) it isn’t really Sergey’s blog or b) he’s not that famous. Since b) is a factual impossibility, then it must be c) no one’s really picked up on it … yet. Sergey — if you’re listening (and why wouldn’t you? I guess you don’t really remember the “help” you hire), you need to sexify your blog. Rant about something a little more interesting than … bleh. Parkinson’s. How incredibly predictable. Go off on the people you’ve dated in the past. The people you’re dating now. Shhhhh … nevermind, Anne. She already knows. ;)

  1. I left a comment, and a message came up saying that comments would most likely “not be read or approved”.

So there might have been thousands of comments for all we know.

Totally understand though - writing is one thing. Drifting through thousands of comments would quickly become impossible.

  2. Hello.
    :)

“The birth took place at the couple’s home (just outside Oslo),” says the palace, adding mother and baby were both well.
    Bye.
